The Star N9770 is another phablet/tabphone knock-off that is inspired to the physical built of the Samsung Galaxy Note. However, this one has slightly smaller screen at 5″ but with a very strong processor running the new MT6577 dual core CPU chip.

The Star N9770 might be confused with the Star Note II GT-i9220, which is also a 5-inch China version of Galaxy Note. Its because the Star Note 2 is also called as N9770, but they are actually different and also has different price listed on stores. This one, Star N9770 is cheaper for a tad bit $5USD.

Running Android 4.0.4 out of the box, this ICS phone is dual-SIM and has 3G support. It is totally unlocked and will work on all carriers worldwide. It also has support to many languages, just check on the table below.

The Star N9770 sports a MTK6577 Cortex A9 dual core CPU clocked at very fast speed of 1.0 GHz, matched with a very efficient and strong PowerVR SGX531 GPU.

It has a very big display of 5.0-inches size, capacitive touch screen that has a resolution of 480×800 pixels.

It has a big internal memory capacity of 4GB ROM that is still expandable up to 32GB max with an SD card. The phone has a decent RAM of 512MB which is very much enough for seamless multi-tasking and gaming.

It has a very clear 8 megapixels main camera and a fine 0.3 megapixel front snapper. It is able to capture HD videos and taking into note its CPU and GPU, it means that it can also natively play HD videos on its 5-inch screen without problems.
