Here is another upcoming MT6577 dual-core smartphone that has a projector as its sweet selling spot. This Q&O T1 Projector phone is alleged as the world’s first Android China phone to have a projector function.

If we can still remember about the Altek A14 Leo as an Android-powered digital camera, and this is an Android-powered projector? Seems legit!

Q&O T1: MT6577 Android with Projector

Well basically, its a MT6577 phone and we already know the capability of such dual-core Android smartphone with that specs. It is a high performer on any aspect, plus it comes really cheap when slated on the market. What seems to be pretty much interesting is its capability to make screen projectors, be it still images, slideshows or even videos; just whatever your screen displays!

That makes me think playing games on the wall or watching a movie in my ceiling while I am lying on my bed at night.

Not much is known about this Q&O T1 phone but it was posted that this projector phone is capable of handling 720p multimedia playback, and has 1GB of RAM. Just enough to say that this one is no cheapskate, specs will be impressively on high-end. The design looks good as well. However, there is some source that says that this one will only have a Android 2.3 OS out of the box, while I noticed some Chinese stores are already accepting pre-orders of this device that they claim it was on Android 4.0 ICS.

They sell it for quite a price of $250-290 USD price mark range. This isnt the official price, but I am guessing that it will definitely go down and we’ll know it soon when it gets the official market release.

On the OS difference, I do not think any much problem with having a 4.0 ICS OS on this projector phone as the MT6577 chip can pretty much handle that with ease.
