ZOPO also steps up on the quad core scene, upgrading its current dual-core flagship phones to present new quad-core devices. The variety of upgraded handsets are as follows: the 5.3 inches Leader ZP900, 5.7-inch Leader Max ZP950 and the upcoming Libero HD ZP800 Unicom customized version.
While most fan boys expected that the ZOPO ZP950 MAX will come out as a quad-core device already, this one came in sporting the the 40nm process A9 architecture MT6577 dual-core processor. A fresh good news to everyone, the ZP900 and ZP950 will soon both have their CPU upgraded to the higher performance and lower power consumption MT6589 quad-core processor. It was said that these new quad-core phones from ZOPO is expected to have Android 4.1 running out of the box.
ZOPO Libero HD ZP800, Leader, and Leader MAX: new quad-core phones
The newly debut ZOPO Libero HD ZP800 Unicom customized version will be sporting a 5-inch HD screen, and the MT6589 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It will have a 8MP and 2MP snapper combo, battery capacity of 2000mAh and runs on ANdroid 4.1 JellyBean as well.
