LePhone K860: Lenovo’s Quad-Core Flagship Phone
Are you ready for another quad-core experience? Well, Lenovo takes on its dip on the quad-core category of the latest Android smartphones with the Lenovo LePhone K860 as its entry.
For a quick overview, the Lenovo Lephone K860 is an Android ICS phone that has the Samsung Exynos 4412 Quad Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, 1280x720pixels AH-IPS 5-inch screen. Let’s review its specs and features a little more.

Lenovo K860
The Lenovo K860 boasts with its Samsung Exynos 4412 Quad Core CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, similar (or better) to what we have on the Galaxy S3 but benchmark tests purportedly claimed that this Lenovo K860 is able to leave the Samsung’s S3 to dust in terms of the quad-core performance. Matched with that is a Mali-400 MP GPU, hence making this new LePhone another monster of HD gaming and high-quality multimedia entertainment playback.

Lenovo K860 benchmark and UI – really impressive Antutu score
The Lenovo K860 runs on Android 4.0 ICS out of the box, and is very much expected to have an Android 4.1 JellyBean upgrade in the future. It is a single SIM phone, that is totally unlocked and guaranteed to work on any carriers worldwide. The single SIM slot is a micro-SIM slot. It has 3G/WCDMA network reception.

Lenovo LePhone K860
It has 1GB RAM, more than sufficient enough for anyone’s seamless multi-tasking without the need to worry about RAM optimization as you are unlikely to use up all that 1GB of beefed RAM in normal use. The 8GB ROM gives way to more internal storage memory for the LePhone compared to others that only has 4GB ROM space size. You wont be needing to worry about your phone storage consumption, and good thing is; you can still expand this number with an external SD card that supports up to 32GB maximum storage memory capacity.

Lenovo LePhone K860
The LePhone K860 is proudly slated with a 5-inches multi-touch capacitive screen. It is IPS already, and the other awesome part is; it has 1280×720 pixels of HD resolution. IPS + AH screen equals a real pleasure to the eyes.
The snapper set is also a bit forward compared with other phones, this one has 8.0 megapixels rear camera and a 2.0 megapixels front-facing camera. With that better front snapper, its a guarantee of clearer video calling renders and self-portrait shots.

Lenovo K860 back
Another reason why not to hate this Lenovo K860 is its battery capacity rating, the battery of this LePhone is rated at 2250mAh which gives an assurance of longer usage time that may last for a couple of days from a single charge. Seems like Lenovo’s into the track of making their newer devices to have better battery rating, which is a good plus factor.

The bezel lining isn’t too thick at all. The 5.0 size doesnt makes it more of a phablet, but only a monster Android smartphone with a slightly bigger screen compared to those 4.5″ and 4.7″ quad-core Android phones in the market.

Verdict
Yes, we are waiting for the Xiaomi Mi 2, and they almost have the same price tag. But here’s some edge of the Lenovo K860 over that Xiaomi Phone 2:
- the Lenovo K860 is now available in stock
- it has a bigger and better display screen
- lower price tag
- greater battery capacity rating
So to conclude, getting this monster quad-core from Lenovo isn’t a bad deal as well. If you cannot wait for the Xiaomi M2/X2, then get this one now. Lenovo fans are surely rejoicing over this release.

Hello…
when a similar lenovo with dual sim?
This is very nica and cheap movil
bro,
great review. Pano mag order sa fastcardtech? how can i pay thru bank deposit dito pinas?
salamat bro
bro,
d malaki ung tax?
If gamitin ko DHL bro d ba malaki tax nun? mas mabilis kasi delivery
This phone or the xiaomi x2?
my personal choice is Xiaomi MI2
This is not a review. This is a spec sheet post.
Ian, are they selling original Lenovo K860 or clone?
How about their warranty?
Yes they are, about the warranty, they have their warranty polices which you can read from their site.
can confirm me weather this phone has the fm radio, accelerator and gyroscope or not ?
confused bcoz few site are saying yes and few are saying no
lol i wonder why it would not have those. those are very basic, and the k860 has a more advance specs and chip. I will get back to you once I got answers to those people that already had the device in our country whom I know.
i also knbow its just the basic thing
but many sites are saying that it does not have fm radio, accelerator and gyroscope
that why i just want to confirm
if this thing are not in the lenovo then im going to buy xiaomi mi 2
just for info im prefering lenovo bcoz its has launch in india for 28500rs and its available in china for around 18500rs and as it has launch in india i will able to get the services center in india
and more question
1. weather the xiaomi mi 2 has the fm radio or not other two thing re there in the xiaomi mi 2 ?
2. weather the xiaomi mi2 is there available in the china now for the public?
3. and next month im coming to china(i stay in india) so weather i can buy it from local market or not?
4. and what is the cost of the 3000mah battery and usb otg cable?
I cannot tell you right information about those features of these phones unless I have checked it out myself, so sorry bro, but I think Xiaomi Mi 2 is still the better choice for overall.
not sure if xiaomi mi2 is available in public, but i bet you can find one there in china in time you visit it. i think there is chance you can find on local market but with higher pricing. about that other accessories pricing, I cannot tell bro.
i heard that lenovo k860i is coming
confirm me weather this rumour or not , any news on this and when is it releasing i know the spec.
havent heard, will check it out.
kk
Bro, can you post a guide on how to order on fastcardtech? Yung best-way. Diba USD kpag western union? Anu un, I have to convert pa my PHP to USD saka ako mag-ssend sa western Union? Haha.
kasi, Im planning to order worth 10k. I save it for almost 10 months (Studyante in HS pa kasi ako). Haha mahirap na maging parang bula ung pera. Salamat. Ill wait till your next post. Salamat.
