Words are out that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo is on the run for a MT6588 quad-core phone project which is labeled as Lenovo Arkansas. As far as I know, Arkansas is a place but whatever, check out the specs of this Lenovo Arkansas as it was said to be a very cheap and affordable quad-core treat from Lenovo as they say.
Lenovo Arkansas Project Phone
The Lenovo Arkansas project phone sports a MTK MT6588 chip, which is a quad-core CPU that is clocked at 1.2GHz speed. It has a plentiful 1GB of RAM and 4GB ROM (2.5GB of usable internal phone storage memory is expected). The screen is a 4.5-inch with a qHD resolution. It runs on Android 4.1 JellyBean out of the box which is as well pretty-cool to know.
